Ariel Re Announces Property Leadership Transition and Expansion of E&S Business

Hamilton, Bermuda – March 5, 2026: Global reinsurer Ariel Re today announced leadership updates within its Property underwriting team, reinforcing the company’s focus on portfolio resilience, and long-term strategic growth.

Effective April 1, 2026, Sarah Morgan will become Head of Property. Ms Morgan, has been an integral member of the Property underwriting team since 2006, and has developed strong broker and client relationships across the market.

Ms Morgan commented, “I am proud to step into this role and look forward to working closely with our brokers and clients as we continue to grow the portfolio in a thoughtful and sustainable way.”

Sarah will replace Mike Cornish who will continue with Ariel Re in a new role, supporting strategy, new product development and special projects.

In addition, Ariel Re confirmed that, from April 1, 2026, Reed Gaglio, who joined Ariel Re in 2005, has been appointed Head of E&S Property Reinsurance. In this role, Mr Gaglio leads the next phase of business development reflecting the increasing strategic importance of this class.
